Stopping the violence through Performance!
Reader's Theater allows individual or group performances of any work, allowing audiences to feel, hear, and digest material.
To ensure performances reach a wide audience, Scripts should meet the three touchstones of performance: Universality, Individuality, and Suggestion. Universality implies that the thoughts, ideas, and expression of the scripts should reach a wide audience through common experiences. Individuality proposes that the thoughts, ideas, and expressions of the work should bring the writer's own approach, through their own perspective to the work. Suggestion encourages the audience to digest the work from their own vantage point.
Scripts for Readers Theater can be customized to the preferences of the Performer. This allows performers to seamlessly transition through the work effectively.
